Alexandre Joncas and Gildas Le Bars set up their design studio to create enigmatic and modern light structures with a singular poetic approach. Nestled in the lush landscape of Quebec’s Laurentian mountains, Darmes boasts a tight-knit team of professionals, designers and craftsmen thoughtfully weaving in tandem refined, distinct and timeless designs.
Each unconventional design is a mystifying enigma hidden in plain sight, beckoning intuitive interpretation and providing escapism with a sublime celestial intensity. The constant need for reinvention, the endless aesthetic curiosity and the vast inspirational natural playground fuels Darmes every day to create extraordinary lighting for contemporary and classic spaces.
