When it comes to lighting your bathroom, style is not the only factor you need to consider. It is essential to buy lights with the correct IP rating and to understand the system of bathroom zones. We have put together a very simple guide, so that you can light your bathroom with confidence.
Holloways of Ludlow stocks a premium collection of UK and international designer lighting brands. Our curated catalogue includes contemporary lighting from &Tradition, Tom Dixon, Flos, Marset, GUBI, Louis Poulsen, Muuto and HAY, alongside traditional ranges from brands like Old School Electric, Anglepoise and Fritz Fryer. Whether you are searching for Scandinavian minimalism, industrial lighting, or mid-century design, we supply authentic pieces from the world’s leading lighting designers.
We supply a comprehensive range of luxury interior and exterior lighting. The Holloways of Ludlow lighting collection is categorised by type to suit every residential and commercial project. You’ll find ceiling and pendant lights, wall lights, table and desk lamps and floor lights. We also have a growing collection of rechargeable table lamps, cordless lamps and clip-on lights.
To maximise limited space, our interior design experts recommend flush ceiling lights, spotlights and slimline wall lights. Additionally, cordless, rechargeable portable lamps (such as the HAY PC Portable or the &Tradition VP9 Flowerpot) are highly recommended for apartments, as they can be easily moved to where light is needed without cluttering a room with cables.
The key lighting trends shaping high-end interiors right now focus on adaptability. Cordless, portable lighting is gaining popularity due to its versatility in transitioning between indoor and outdoor spaces. Many of these lamps come in playful shapes, making them both decorative and functional. A timeless trend that is always relevant is the installation of iconic mid-century lighting designs into living spaces. Many of the designers we stock have reissued mid-century originals or have brought them up to date for modern living.
