Ercol

Ercol was established in 1920 by Italian designer Lucian R. Ercolani in High Wycombe, the heart of England’s furniture-making industry. From the beginning, Lucian was driven by a desire to create furniture that was both functional and honest, with a strong emphasis on good design and craftsmanship. These values remain at the core of the company, which is still family-owned and now led by Lucian’s great-grandson, who continues to uphold his vision.

Design has always been at the heart of Ercol. The company’s furniture evolves to reflect modern living while staying true to its heritage. A talented in-house design team works alongside skilled furniture technicians to create and refine each piece, while collaborations with renowned UK designers bring fresh perspectives. Every item is thoughtfully crafted, ensuring it is not only beautiful but also practical and made to last.
