DCW Editions NL12 Linear Pendant Light

The DCW Editions NL12 Linear Pendant Light is a striking architectural masterpiece designed by German designer Sebastian Summa. Conceived as a radical yet poetic celestial beam, the luminaire is purpose-built to light a large dining room table using a clever trompe l’oeil style. The structure is composed of twelve independent glass tubes, but only a single central tube houses the actual light source. Operating like a hidden power station, this single source projects light into the remaining eleven tubes, which beautifully relay and multiply the diffusion through natural refraction and prismatic effects.

A true artisanal tour de force, the fixture completely conceals its technical components, leaving no visible wires, no exposed LEDs, and no visible aluminium structure. To suspend the substantial 7.6kg beam from the ceiling, Summa designed a pair of gallows-like brackets that add a post-industrial, athletic touch to the composition. The hanging structure is available in a matte black finish with 70cm high brackets that perfectly balance the assembly. Spanning a generous length of 1.30 metres, the twelve non-fixed glass tubes can be manually slid along the brackets, allowing you to create artistic offsets or align them perfectly into a sharp, uniform block.

The NL12 comes equipped with a high-performance integrated LED module, available in two distinct colour temperature variations to suit your specific interior environment. You can select the ultra-warm 2400K option to generate a deeply cosy, candle-like ambiance, or choose the standard 2700K model for a crisp, welcoming warm white glow. Given its commanding length, this linear pendant acts as a spectacular focal point above long dining tables, boardroom desks, or kitchen islands. About your delivery

• We aim to get your items to you as soon as possible.
• For regular sized packages we use an overnight courier company, usually either DPD or APC.
• For oversized, heavy or awkward packages a more bespoke delivery service will be provided.
• Once your order has been despatched, you will receive a tracking link by email so you can follow your delivery to your door.
• Free Delivery offer only applies to UK mainland purchases. We reserve the right to make additional charges for overseas deliveries and for remote parts of the UK, including Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Shetland, and the Highlands.

What happens when I order?

• If your order is in stock, you should have your item(s) within 3-5 days of placing your order, but please note there can be a small increase in delivery time during busy periods.
• Free Click & Collect is available from all of our showroom locations and from our warehouse in Ludlow. This can be selected as an option within our checkout. PLEASE NOTE: Stock is not held in our stores and your order will need to be transferred from our warehouse to the relevant store - this can take 4-8 days. For in stock items, the fastest way to receive your order is to have it delivered directly to you.

Returns

• All goods can be returned within 30 days of delivery if they do not meet your requirements.
• Returned goods must be returned with all parts, packaging, and instructions in perfect condition for a refund to be issued.
