GUBI TS Collection

When Italian-Danish design duo GamFratesi was commissioned to furnish The Standard – Copenhagen's famous jazz and dining hotspot – they faced a common architectural challenge: how to honour period architecture without making the interior feel dated.

Their solution became the TS Collection. Inspired by the sharp lines of the building’s 1930s Art Deco architecture, their collection of tables plays on a brilliant visual contradiction. By pairing heavy, deeply veined marble tops with ultra-slender, crisscrossing metal legs, GamFratesi created a structural illusion, making one of the heaviest stones on earth appear entirely weightless.
