The Figura Elefante by Aldo Londi is a compact ceramic figure from the Rimini Blu series. Its stylised form is brought to life through intricate engraved motifs, applied by stencil in repeating, abstract patterns that wrap across the surface. The vivid glaze, a signature turquoise blue, catches and reflects light, intensified by the hand-brushed undertones that peek through in flashes of deeper cobalt. The design evokes both craftsmanship and movement, echoing the coastal brightness of the collection’s namesake, Rimini.

Still produced by Bitossi’s artisans in Italy, each piece is shaped, decorated and glazed by hand, using the same methods pioneered by Londi in the mid-20th century. After firing, the patterns and glaze fuse into a dense, luminous finish unique to each edition. This reissue offers a faithful continuation of a celebrated ceramic tradition.
