DCW Editions Focus 5 Pendant Light

The DCW Editions Focus 5 Pendant Light is a grand, contemporary chandelier designed by Japanese designer Yuji Okitsu. Bringing a poetic sense of astronomy into modern interior architecture, this fixture features five ultra-thin, luminous discs suspended from an asymmetrical, gold-painted framework. The conceptual design treats the planets as fragile soap bubbles drifting through space, combining precise engineering with a delicate, mobile-like structure that creates an impression of weightlessness within your living space.

Crafted from high-quality aluminium with a refined gold finish and premium transparent PMMA lenses, the chandelier functions as a slow-moving kinetic sculpture. The thin discs react gently to natural air currents, catching and filtering ambient daylight throughout the morning and afternoon. When evening arrives, the integrated LED rings embedded around the edges of the five discs illuminate, producing a warm 2700K ambient glow. As the largest variant in the Focus collection, this 5-disc configuration is designed to make a significant structural impact in spacious rooms with tall ceiling heights.

The Focus 5 utilizes an integrated LED light source that provides energy-efficient illumination while keeping the overall profile sleek and free of traditional bulbs. Supplied with a long suspension cable, it acts as a striking focal point when positioned over a large dining table, a central staircase, or within a high-ceilinged living area.
