GUBI Grashoppa Pendant Light | Holloways of Ludlow

The GUBI Grashoppa Pendant Light is based on Greta M. Grossman’s original 1947 design, defined by its distinctive steel shade and light, functional character. The form reflects Grossman’s playful approach to modernism, combining clean structure with an organic, slightly whimsical expression.

Suspended from the ceiling, the pendant provides focused light while maintaining a balanced visual presence. Its angled shade directs illumination downward, making it well suited to practical everyday settings without feeling overly technical.

Ideal above kitchen counters, islands or dining tables, the Grashoppa Pendant Light brings a clear mid-century identity to contemporary interiors. Its combination of simplicity, character and functional light output makes it a lasting design classic.
