HAY Layout Armchair 232 with 4 Star Swivel Base

The HAY Layout Armchair 232, designed by Julien Renault, combines a lightweight shell with a practical four-star swivel base. Defined by the opening in the backrest for added comfort and visual lightness, it pairs a plywood seat for warmth with an aluminium base that ensures stability and mobility. Each part is designed for disassembly, supporting easy repair and long-term use.

The shell is made from at least 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and comes in a wide range of colours. The seat is available in several plywood finishes, while the aluminium base can be specified in polished or powder-coated versions. Customise your ideal combination and order today to create a versatile seating solution for both work and home settings.
