HAY Layout Armchair 234 with 4 Star Swivel Base

Designed by Julien Renault, the Layout Armchair 234 combines a contemporary profile with a practical construction. Defined by the distinctive backrest opening, the chair offers both comfort and a lighter visual expression. The seat and back are fully upholstered for added softness, while the aluminium four-star swivel base provides stability and smooth rotation. All parts are designed to be taken apart, extending the lifespan of the chair through repair or refurbishment.

The shell is made from at least 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and comes in a broad range of colours. The aluminium base is available in polished or powder-coated finishes, while the upholstered seat and back can be specified in fabric or olive-leaf tanned leather. Suitable for offices, hospitality spaces, or the home, this adaptable chair can be customised to suit your interior. Choose your ideal combination and order today to create a chair that works for your space and style.
