HAY Layout Armchair 253 with 4 Star Swivel Arc Base

The HAY Layout Armchair 253 by Julien Renault is designed to support flexible seating in professional and domestic environments. The opening in the backrest creates a lighter appearance while allowing natural movement and comfort when seated.

This version features an upholstered seat that adds warmth and comfort, paired with a four star swivel arc base made from aluminium for smooth movement. All components are designed to be fully disassembled, supporting repair and refurbishment over time.

The shell is made from a minimum of 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and is available in a wide range of colours. Upholstery options include selected fabrics and olive-leaf tanned leather, making the Layout Armchair 253 a durable and adaptable seating choice for offices, shared spaces and home interiors.
