HAY Layout Chair 132 with 4 Star Swivel Base

The HAY Layout Chair 132, designed by Julien Renault, brings together comfort, adaptability and circular design in a refined swivel chair format. Defined by its open backrest, the recycled plastic shell feels light in appearance while offering supportive, responsive seating. The opening adds visual transparency and improves comfort, making the chair well suited to both professional and domestic settings.

This version features a plywood seat that introduces natural warmth and contrast, paired with an aluminium four-star swivel base for stability and easy movement. All components are designed to be fully disassembled, supporting long-term use, refurbishment and material recovery. Available in a wide range of shell colours and plywood finishes, the Layout Chair 132 can be tailored to suit offices, meeting spaces, home work areas and dining environments.
