HAY Layout Chair 133 with 4 Star Swivel Base

The HAY Layout Chair 133, designed by Julien Renault, explores comfort and circular design through a refined swivel chair format. The open backrest gives the recycled plastic shell a lighter, more transparent appearance while improving flexibility and support when seated. Its considered proportions and clean lines make it suitable for a wide range of interiors, from home offices to shared workspaces.

This version features an upholstered seat that adds warmth and softness, paired with an aluminium four-star swivel base for stability and ease of movement. All components are designed to be fully disassembled, supporting refurbishment and long-term use. The shell is made from a minimum of 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and is available in a wide selection of colours, while the seat upholstery can be specified in a range of fabrics or olive-leaf tanned leather to suit both domestic and professional environments.
