HAY Layout Dining Chair 122 | Holloways of Ludlow

The HAY Layout Dining Chair 121, designed by Julien Renault, brings a softer, more tactile character to the Layout collection through the use of rounded wooden legs. The open-back shell gives the chair its defining sense of lightness and transparency, while also improving comfort and flexibility when seated. The overall expression feels balanced and calm, making it easy to place in both domestic and shared environments.

Built with longevity and circular design in mind, the shell is made from a minimum of 96% post-consumer recycled plastic and all components can be fully disassembled for refurbishment over time. The wooden base is available in a selection of wood types, adding warmth and a timeless quality that contrasts neatly with the contemporary shell. Suitable for dining rooms, offices, restaurants and public spaces, Layout Chair 121 offers a durable, considered seating solution that adapts easily to different settings.
