HAY Rey Chair, Upholstered | Holloways of Ludlow

The upholstered HAY Rey Chair offers a perfect blend of Bruno Rey’s classic 1971 design with modern comfort, making it an ideal choice for family dining or restaurant seating. With its clean lines, rounded edges, and innovative screwless wood-to-metal connection by Dietiker, the Rey Chair combines durability and minimalist style. The addition of a complementary fabric upholstered seat elevates comfort without compromising its sleek, timeless aesthetic.

Whether used in a home dining room or a commercial setting, the upholstered Rey Chair pairs effortlessly with the rest of the Rey range, including tables and stools, for a cohesive, stylish look. Available in a range of original and updated colours, this chair provides versatility, comfort, and durability, making it a practical and elegant seating solution for any modern interior.

The HAY Rey Upholstered Chair retains the distinctive rounded silhouette of Bruno Rey's original design while introducing a comfortable upholstered seat. Its combination of timber and fabric makes it suitable for dining rooms where additional comfort is preferred without losing the character of a wooden chair. The design works well alongside contemporary dining tables and other Scandinavian furniture.
