The large HAY Traverse Garden Dining Set, designed by Erwan Bouroullec, brings together strength, warmth and quiet architectural clarity. The collection is created to sit naturally within its surroundings, whether on a private terrace or in a larger garden setting. Its balanced proportions and honest material palette give it a calm, grounded presence that feels both contemporary and enduring.

At the centre is the 190cm Traverse Garden Table, paired with four Traverse Dining Chairs and two Traverse Armchairs to create a generous six-seat arrangement. Each piece combines a die-cast aluminium frame with slatted seats in heat-treated ash, blending durability with tactile warmth. The armchairs add extra comfort and a more relaxed posture at the table, making the set ideal for long lunches and sociable evenings outdoors.

An important feature of the Traverse collection is the natural evolution of the ash wood. Over time, the timber will gently patinate, developing a softer, silvery tone that enhances its character and individuality. This ageing process is part of the design intention, allowing the set to become more beautiful as it weathers. Robust yet refined, the HAY Traverse Garden Dining Set is designed to age gracefully and remain relevant season after season.
