DCW Editions Lampe Gras 205 Table Lamp

The DCW Editions Lampe Gras 205 Table Lamp is a highly adjustable desk light based on the original 1921 industrial designs by Bernard-Albin Gras. This classic fixture features a heavy, cast-steel triangular base that provides exceptional stability on flat surfaces. Combined with a rotating steel arm and a pivoting round shade, the double-jointed mechanism allows you to manually swing, tilt, and angle the light source with complete precision to eliminate unwanted glare.

Engineered for frequent physical handling, the solid steel construction relies entirely on smooth mechanical joints without the use of fragile screws or welded parts. The balanced design ensures the lamp remains securely anchored to your tabletop even when the arm is extended to its maximum reach. Maintenance is simple, requiring no specialized chemical cleaners; a quick wipe down with a dry cloth is all that is needed to keep the matte powder-coated finish free from everyday dust.

This functional table lamp works exceptionally well when positioned on home office desks, reading tables, or compact bedside counters. Its clean industrial profile and graphic silhouette allow it to coordinate naturally with timber writing surfaces, modern metallic office storage, and minimalist bedroom furniture. Whether you place a single unit to provide focused downlight for daily reading or use it as a dedicated study lamp, it directs bright task lighting exactly where you need it.
