Raawii Cloud Vase | Holloways of Ludlow

Delve into an artistic journey with the Cloud Vase collection from raawii, where designer Nicholai Wiig-Hansen drew inspiration from his father's bronze sculpture, Danish artist Svend Wiig-Hansen, to capture the emotional essence and ever-changing nature of clouds. Consisting of a large vase, a small vase, and a centrepiece, each piece seems to metamorphose with the interplay of light and shadow, engaging the observer's perspective. This remarkable range includes a large vase, a small vase, and a centrepiece, each with a unique ability to transform in response to the interplay of light and shadow, as well as the observer's perspective.

Crafted from earthenware, these Cloud Vases capture the essence of ever-changing clouds, echoing the emotional resonance Nicholai Wiig-Hansen experienced when inspired by his father's work. Each piece in this collection embodies the designer's dedication to hand-modelling, ensuring they convey the precise expression and feeling he envisioned. The Cloud Vases are a testament to the transformative power of art and design, inviting you to witness the magic of shape-shifting forms in harmony with the play of light. Nicholai Wiig-Hansen's Cloud Vase range is a true work of art that pays homage to the dynamic nature of clouds, encapsulating their ever-evolving quality.

The three distinct pieces offer an intriguing narrative as they morph in response to changing perspectives, illuminating your space with elegance and sophistication. Crafted with meticulous care and thought, these earthenware vases are not just decorative objects but a means to experience the enchanting world of art in the ever-changing play of light and shadow.
