&Tradition Wire Bar Stool | Holloways of Ludlow

The &Tradition Wire VP16 Bar Stool builds on Verner Panton's original Wire Stool, reworking it for bar-height seating while keeping its distinctive silhouette. The taller frame feels reassuringly sturdy, and the carefully positioned footrest makes it somewhere you'll be happy to sit for longer, whether you're enjoying breakfast, drinks or catching up with friends.

Formed from bent steel wire, the stool has an open, sculptural look but doesn't compromise on stability. An optional seat pad, created in collaboration with the Panton Family, attaches with concealed magnets and comes in blue, red, green or grey. If you need a surface rather than a seat, the optional marble top sits neatly within the wire frame, turning the stool into a compact table for a coffee, a book or a drink.

It's the sort of piece that works comfortably in a range of settings, from a home bar to a commercial interior, and the option to swap between seating and a side table makes it even more useful over time.
