Vitra Akari A Pendant Light

Isamu Noguchi designed the Akari Light Sculptures in 1951, combining traditional Japanese craft with modern design sensibilities. Each piece is handmade from washi paper and bamboo, materials that give the lamps their distinctive warmth and character. The Akari Pendant Light A Collection includes three sizes, 45A, 55A, and 75A; each offering the same gentle glow but with variations in scale to suit different spaces.

Hung individually, they bring a quiet, sculptural presence to a room, while grouped together they create a striking display of light and form. The organic paper shade softens illumination into a calm, atmospheric glow, making the A Collection equally suited for living rooms, dining areas, or open spaces where a warm and inviting light is desired.
