Anglepoise Original 1227 National Trust Edition Desk Lamp

Launched in 1935 and generally considered the archetypal Anglepoise, the Original 1227 pioneered our unique constant spring technology to deliver ultimate flexibility and perfect balance. Today this timeless, classic design enjoys iconic design status.

Experience Anglepoise's heritage in a condensed form with the Anglepoise Original 1227 Desk Lamp National Trust Edition. This lamp carries the iconic classic shade and featuring a practical switch on the cable that both pioneers new design and preserves the original Anglepoise essence.

In partnership with the National Trust, Anglepoise presents an ageless lamp collection illuminating both our homes and the joys of daily life. Building on the success of previous collaborations, like Sage Green and Buttermilk Yellow, the 2023 collection introduces Neptune Blue. This venture supports the National Trust's conservation efforts, contributing to the care of cherished locales. Purchases from the National Trust collection directly aid this cause, reflecting Anglepoise's dedication to design with a lasting impact.

The Anglepoise Original 1227 National Trust Edition Desk Lamp combines the familiar silhouette of a British design classic with colours developed through the National Trust collaboration. Its adjustable construction makes it a practical choice for home offices, reading areas and creative workspaces where directional lighting is important. The heritage-inspired finishes also introduce colour without compromising the lamp's functional design. Explore our collection of designer desk lamps for other adjustable lighting options, or compare it with the Anglepoise Original 1227 Mini Desk Lamp for smaller workspaces.
