Fredericia Islet Side Table | Holloways of Ludlow

The Fredericia Islets Side Table has a simplicity that feels very natural. Designed by Maria Bruun, it doesn’t rely on bold details or complicated forms to stand out. Instead, the appeal comes from the proportions and the way the table sits within a space. It has a quiet confidence to it, bringing character to a room without ever feeling like it’s trying too hard.

There’s a softness to the design that makes it easy to live with, but it still has a strong presence when viewed up close. The construction is deliberately straightforward, allowing the shape and material to take centre stage. Available in either Light Oiled Oak or Smoked Oiled Oak, the table can feel quite different depending on the finish chosen, from lighter and more relaxed to richer and more defined. Either way, the craftsmanship remains the focus.

The Islets Side Table works comfortably beside a sofa, lounge chair or bed, where its compact footprint and understated design make it genuinely useful day to day. It’s the sort of piece that settles into a room easily and feels as though it has always belonged there.
