Fredericia Swoon Lounge Petit Wood Base Chair

The Fredericia Swoon Lounge Petit Chair with Wood Base has a softer, more compact feel than a lot of lounge seating, which is part of what makes it so versatile. Designed by Space Copenhagen, it sits somewhere between a lounge chair and an easy chair, giving it a more relaxed and informal character. The timber base adds warmth to the overall design and makes it feel especially comfortable in residential interiors.

The curved shape allows you to sit naturally rather than too upright or structured, and the chair feels comfortable almost immediately because of that. It’s supportive without being heavy, with proportions that work well in smaller spaces or shared interiors where larger seating can feel overwhelming. The wood base also brings a quieter detail to the design, softening the sculptural form slightly.

The Swoon Lounge Petit Chair works particularly well in reception areas, hotel lounges and calmer living spaces where seating needs to feel welcoming without taking over the room. Its smaller footprint makes it easy to place, though it still has enough character to stand on its own.
