Graypants Denny Pendant Light | Holloways of Ludlow

The Graypants Denny Pendant is part of the Scraplights collection, where recycled materials are transformed into sculptural lighting. Handcrafted from natural recycled cardboard, the pendant brings warmth and texture to interior spaces while maintaining the layered character that defines the collection. When illuminated, the cardboard softly diffuses the light, creating a calm and intimate atmosphere.

Each shade is precision cut using a laser, revealing the corrugated structure of the cardboard and producing the distinctive darkened edges that have become a hallmark of Scraplights. Every pendant is assembled by hand using non-toxic adhesive and treated with a non-toxic fire retardant, ensuring durability and safety while preserving the natural quality of the material.

The Denny design draws inspiration from the natural surroundings of the Graypants studio in Seattle. Its organic form reflects the shapes of pebbles collected along nearby beaches, translating these simple natural contours into a refined pendant light. The result is a tactile and atmospheric design that connects contemporary lighting with the quiet beauty of the natural landscape.
