Vitra Soft Pad Chairs EA208 Classic Conference

The Vitra Soft Pad Chair EA 208, designed by Charles and Ray Eames, embodies the perfect balance of comfort and sophistication. Retaining the clean, low-profile aesthetic of the iconic Aluminium Group, this model adds three generously cushioned pads for enhanced support. The result is a chair that combines architectural clarity with inviting comfort, making it ideal for meeting rooms, private offices, or any setting that demands both style and ease. Its slim silhouette and precise proportions reflect the Eames’ mastery of ergonomic design and modern craftsmanship.

This version features fixed armrests and a four-star base without castors, lending it a stable, grounded presence. The base can be specified in polished aluminium, black, dark bordeaux powder-coated, or chrome finishes. Upholstery is available in a wide range of premium leathers and fabrics, allowing customisation from understated neutrals to bold statements. A true modern classic, the Soft Pad Chair EA 208 delivers long-lasting comfort with timeless elegance.
