Carl Hansen & Son BM5568 Outdoor Deck Chair

The Carl Hansen & Son BM5568 Garden Deck Chair was originally developed by Børge Mogensen in the 1960s for his private balcony and reintroduced in 2020. Designed with clarity of form and function, it offers an honest, laid-back expression suited to outdoor relaxation.

Made from untreated FSC™-certified teak, the chair features wooden slats shaped to follow the natural curves of the body. Its angled frame and generous reclining seat provide comfortable support, while the lightweight construction makes it easy to move to catch the best light throughout the day.

The BM5568 folds flat for simple storage and can even be hung on a wall when not in use. Optional padded cushions are available separately, allowing you to add extra comfort while maintaining Mogensen’s timeless approach to practical outdoor design.
