Carl Hansen & Son MG501 Cuba Chair - Paper Cord

The elegant MG501 Cuba chair - paper cord reimagines the folding lounge chair with a new balance of form and function. Originally designed in 1997, Morten Gøttler’s Cuba chair is afforded a lighter, more refined expression by the paper cord seat and back, and solid oak frame. Each back and seat takes eight hours to hand weave using a special technique that is aesthetically pleasing on both sides of the cord. Easy to fold and light enough to hang, the laid-back MG501 Cuba chair - paper cord is ideal as an extra or permanent fixture in any lounge room.
